Tower to tower bike ride
Students from the University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP) are the proud participants of the Tower to Tower Bike Ride challenge. A journey that consists of a 600-mile bike ride, starting at the Eiffel Tower, all the way to Blackpool Tower, over the course of 9 days.
This immense challenge is being taken on by seven ULIP students, two participants from previous years, and five new riders. They will be accompanied by a support crew to ensure their safety and cheer them on. Over the last six years we have raised over £10,000 for the charity Mind UK and want to continue raising money for such a good cause whilst also raising awareness of the importance of Mind’s work for students in the UK. Mind UK : Mind is a mental health charity which aims to ensure that ‘everyone experiencing mental health problems get both support and respect’ whilst also working tirelessly to eradicate the stigma that is profoundly linked to mental health disorders in our society. Mind is an essential service that supports people all over the UK, including students. Mental health is a growing concern, with 1 in 4 adults (and 1 in 5 students) experiencing a mental health problem. The ULIP Tower to Tower Bike Ride Team are proud to support this extremely important charity. The impact our fundraising can have is immense and your donations help to fund valuable services and resources - so donate generously by using the following link! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ULIPTowerToTower |
