How to spot him: Tall, suited, smiley, glasses, often rocking around on the upper floors
Likes: Arabic, Music, Vin rouge, Jordan, Sudan and the Middle East
Dislikes:  Student dissatisfaction
Words of wisdom: "People use bicycles and nobody puts on any lycra or bicyle helmets."

Dr Catriona MacLeod

Subjects Taught: Oeuvres, Translation, Texte image et culture de masse, Bande Dessinée
How to spot her: Dark hair and a gentle Scottish accent
Likes: Cartoons, Andy Murray, BD, comics
Dislikes: Bad handwriting, Grant's Whiskey

How to spot her: Short black hair, colourful clothing, usually behind the library counter

Dislikes: The people at CAF, who are responsible for so many headaches every year

How to spot her: Wearing a neck scarf, hair often in a chignon, American accent
Likes: Salsa (dancing)

Dr Charlotte Legg

How to spot her: Immaculately dressed in a 1940s dancehall-chic style
Likes: rations, kooky earrings, jazz musicians
Dislikes: air raids, electro-swing music, Nicolas Sarkozy

Dr Jeremy Stubbs

How to spot him: The gentleman lecturer
Likes: His iPhone, Muji, 3-piece suits, Margaret Thatcher, French Rap
Dislikes: Marking, responding to emails, the Labour party

How to spot her: Fairly long brown hair, usually sitting in the office
Likes: Not deciding whether to speak to you in French or English until the last moment
Dislikes: General faffing

Lena Ghellis

Subjects: Staff salaries, accounting, all things argent
How to spot her: ULIP veteran of 30 years, often overhead talking then consequently laughing to herself in her office
Likes: Money, money, money (and chocolate)
Dislikes: The métro - specifically lines 11 and 8
